Приєднався 26 кві 2013
Our mission is to bringing better health, increased vitality, mental clarity and a calmer spirit through the ancient Chinese arts of Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
For thousands of years the Chinese have enjoyed the many benefits that Tai Chi and Qi Gong have to offer. Today many individuals of all ages and backgrounds from around the world are discovering what the Chinese have known for centuries, that the daily practice of Tai Chi and Qi Gong manifest dynamic and powerful changes in one's physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
As accurately and eloquently stated by Sophia Delza, one of the pioneers of Tai Chi Chuan in the United States
" Is there anyone in the world whose idea of being truly healthy would not include, along with a healthy body, a fine mind combined with an ease of disposition?"

Better not rise your heel to high, if you do the hip also rises and your posture is not grounded.

Awesome
Awesome footwork’s
00:01:50 The Turn Around Step. Look closely. The toe is almost making contact with the other foot. This leads to tripping over your own two feet.
,!!!
Nice...! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you very much. Very useful. I broke my fibula and dispite being able to fully weight bear now, I have another 4 weeks to wait until I cab see a physiotherapist for the first time due to Tory cuts and underfunding of the NHS. I am worried that I will have long term problems without the physio I need. Having to rely on UA-cam for now... we need Corbyn more than ever!
greta tutorial…thanks
Strengthening the muscles that supports the weight bearing joints definitely helps and well and understanding the unique phases of the gait cycle in order to see where your particular weakness might be and use the exercises in the DVD to help strengthen that phase. Most people have challenges in supporting "single leg stance" So that is a good one to practice for just about everyone. Wishing you well!
Will this help me
If you are seeking help with balance when walking then this DVD targets the gait cycle. (The gait cycle is the technical terminology for the pattern that is repeated when we walk, putting one foot in front of the other in repetitive movements). The DVD explains the gait cycle, what it is and how to strengthen the muscles and movements that support a strong functional gait!

Your head bobs up and down, reading Sun Lutang's book he says to keep head at same height always, why the change ?
Mia James her head isn’t bobbing per say. The hip opens up slightly when coming forward giving a forward lifting kind of power. But her leg isn’t straightening at all just a slight hip opening.
Excellent. Very clear instructions. Well selected movements with basic tai chi principles.
This is an awesome footwork tutorial. I am a newbie at tai chi and your videos onto the basic footwork have really helped me. Thank you so much for taking the time to share them. Hugs . . .
